Walking/Bike Tracks – The Bargara Foreshore is beautifully designed for walkers, runners or bike riding. Parkrun in Bargara is held every Saturday morning. You can see many of the shorelines Rock pool’s and Beaches along the way.
Dive/Snorkel from the shore – The area offers some of the only places on the mainland that you can walk into the water and be over the top of Coral Reef & Marine life, please ensure that you respect the fragile nature of this experience and take everything you need to see it with your eyes or an underwater camera, please don’t walk on any Coral’s. You can also arrange an experience off the shore or a day trip out to Lady Musgrave.
Extinct Volcano – Near the coast is fairly flat country, with rich Sugar Cane, Vegetables & Fruit farms. The “Hummock” situated half way between Bundaberg & Bargara is an extinct volcano which provides all the character of the seaside rocks to explore but also the rich soil. The “Hummock” has probably the best scenic view of the Region 360 particularly the sunsets.
