Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight will move slowly

a cool, dry air mass into much of Queensland. An upper trough will extend a
band of high-level cloud across northern and central parts of the state during
today and Tuesday but no rainfall is expected with this cloud band due to dry
air near the surface.
